Payment options

Get health insurance with us and you'll find payment easy. You can pay your HBA contributions any of the following ways:

Pay online

It's an easy way to incorporate payment into your health cover plans. Use the online payment form to pay your private health insurance by:

This automatic withdrawal of payments from your savings, cheque, or credit card account offers peace of mind, knowing that when you get health insurance, your membership will always be kept up to date.

  1. Have your bank account details and BSB number ready

Pay by BPAY

BPAY allows you to get health insurance and pay your HBA contributions from a cheque or savings account at your convenience.

Easy steps:

  1. Access your financial institution's telephone or internet banking service and follow the prompts for bill payment

  3. You will be asked for a reference number. This is your HBA private health insurance membership number
  4. Please note your receipt number for future reference

Pay by telephone

Depending on your health cover plans, you may prefer to pay over the phone - you can do this with your credit card in one simple call.

Easy steps:

  1. Have your credit card and HBA membership number ready
  2. Using a touch-tone telephone, call 1300 360 061
  3. Enter the requested details using your telephone key pad
  4. Please note your receipt number for future reference

Pay by mail

This option allows you to get health insurance and pay by cheque or money order.

Easy steps:

  1. Detach the payment slip from the bottom of your HBA Renewal Notice
  2. Put your cheque or money order and the payment slip in the envelope provided
  3. Mail to:
