Bupa Australia shines at HR Leadership Awards

Bupa Australia, which operates the leading brands HBA, MBF, Mutual Community and ClearView, was a standout performer at HR Leader Magazine's annual Australian HR Leadership Awards, held on Thursday, 22 October.

Importantly, Bupa won the prestigious award for 'Best HR Strategy', as well as being the runner-up in the category of 'Employer of Choice' (for companies with over 1000 employees).

Additionally, Bupa was named as a finalist in the categories of 'Best HR Team' and 'Best Talent Management Strategy'. Other finalists included St George Bank, ING Australia, Toyota Motor Corporation and National Australia Bank.

Bupa Asia's Director of Human Resources, Penny Lovett, said the company's success was a great honour, particularly given the awards are renowned as the foremost event for recognising excellence in people leadership and benchmark HR practices.

"This wonderful achievement reflects the hard work and professionalism of all of Bupa's people," Lovett said
