HBA are on the ball with the Brisbane Lions

Official health insurance sponsor HBA Health Insurance brought much needed rains as well as two strong community initiatives to Queensland in February 2008 with the launch of a four year partnership with the Vodafone Brisbane Lions at Coorparoo’s Giffin Park.

HBA through the Brisbane Lions, will help deliver sporting equipment and professional AFL programs to 110 primary and secondary schools across the State under the HBA Schools Assist Program while helping the Club meet more of the hundreds of community and charity requests it receives each year under the HBA Lions Alliance Program.

Take a Lions match ball home with you!

Here's your chance to win the match ball signed by all of the Brisbane Lions team captains at each of their home games in 2008. To enter the competition, simply attend every Lions home game and SMS your name to 0488 000 HBA (0488 000 422).

Schools Assist Program

The HBA Schools Assist Program aims to get Queensland children involved in sport through coaching clinics, chances to win tickets to Brisbane Lions matches and the provision of sporting equipment to participating schools.

This program gives Queensland school children the opportunity to learn skills from their football stars in coaching clinics, obtain the equipment they need to play sport and much more.

Alliance Program

The HBA Lions Alliance program is designed to assist social welfare groups who are actively making a positive difference to their community. Organisations encouraging healthy lifestyles, participation in AFL programs and support for the Lions are welcome to join the HBA Lions Alliance.
