There are no Medicare rebates for health services like these, which means that unless you have private health insurance you will be out of pocket for the entire cost. The choice is simple.
Hospital and Extras cover combinations
With HBA private health insurance you can combine both hospital and health cover extras.
Or you can protect yourself with just health cover extras alone. The range of extras included in your private health insurance also varies from cover to cover. Some include the basics only, others cover more such as osteopathy, podiatry and dietary. Several offer our exclusive HBA Top-Up Bonus, which lets you reduce – if not eliminate – out-of-pocket expenses for health cover extras treatments. Whatever the case, it’s your choice.
